![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ready for the new liner
![]() ![]() I dug out the shelf somewhat to make it a little more level, but at this point I was so tired of the whole stinky mess, I really was ready to just fill it in and forget it. I stunk from head to toe, and was about fed-up with the York County clay. Lucky for me, the liner that the neighbor gave us wasn't large enough to make the pond any deeper, so it was done, basically. All I had to do now was put in the new liner, put the plants and animals back in, fill it back up, and re-line the sides with rocks. No problemo! Another 8 or 10 hours of slave labor, and it would be as good as new! Hallelujah! I thought about adding a filter at this point, but then realized that if I did that, Kelly would miss out on the opportunity to slog it out again next Summer. I know how much she likes playing in the mud, although she would never admit it. Besides, that smell reminds her a lot of her room.hehe
