Work In Progress...

This is what it looked like after all the plants were pulled out, and the majority of the muck was removed. At this point, I almost just re-filled it with water, because I really do like that Wal-Mart style pond liner. It's so...so...so NATURAL looking. (Although I have to admit the price was right.) I really tried to get some pictures of the frogs I had captured from the muck on the bottom to insert here, but I had my hands full (of slime, mostly). I put the frogs in a metal container with about 6 inches of water, and since it was a warm day, the water started to warm up, and the frogs thought Winter was over, so I spent some time catching escaping frogs before I decided to calm them down with a bucket of ice. It seemed to work, but I guess we'll really find out next Spring. My closest guess is that there are around 30 frogs of all sorts that survived the rebuilding effort.
